Bro. Frank Peach was born on January 23, 1910 in Indiana.  His parents were Elza Claud and Mary Mildred Peach.  He had four siblings, Herschel, Jesse, Chester and Mildred.  When Frank was eight years old, his mom died during the influenza epidemic of 1918.  His mother left her bible to Frank.  From that time on he was known as 'preacher'.  When he was 17 years old, he tried to join the Navy, but his Dad tore up his enlistment papers. Shortly after, he gave his heart to the Lord and received the gift of the Holy Ghost.  He began working in Mt. Carmel, IL with his pastor, Bro. Arvel Doan.  Bro. Doan recognized his calling and so he began working with the young people in the church, The Pentecostal Assembly of God (non-denominational).   In 1927, he helped construct a new church at 212 West Second Street in Mt. Carmel.  Bro. Peach held home meetings for shut-ins and one Sunday an atheist, Mr. Perrin, that was dying of tuberculosis, allowed Bro. Peach to have a service in his home.  He asked Mr. Perrin if he would  believe in God if he healed him. He said yes, and the Lord healed him that afternoon and later he was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost.  In 1929, Bro. Peach and Bro. Doan attended a camp meeting in Elco, IL.  When they heard Bro. William Sowders speak, they agreed that he was far advanced in his understanding of the Word of God.  When they returned to Mt. Carmel, Bro. Doan was under pressure from his congregation and did not continue with the message he had heard in Elco.  Bro. Peach continued to work with him, but also continued attending meetings with Bro. Sowders.  In 1931, Bro. Peach held a revival in Granite City, IL for Bro. Ralph Cook. Many were converted and received the Holy Ghost.  Bro. Thomas Jolly (T. M. Jolly) was one of those converted.  (Bro. Jolly said that Bro. Peach came to the garage where he was working and asked him to come).  Bro. Peach then invited Bro. Jolly to come to Mt. Carmel.  Bro. Jolly went, and on February 8, 1932, he received the Holy Ghost at the church on 212 W. Second Street.  On February 12, 1933, Bro. Peach married Willa Wiseheart.  They had 10 children, John, Willa Mae, Alberta Hope, Darlena, James Robert, Mary, David, Nancy, Tommy and Rachel. (All of the children received the Holy ghost).  Bro. Peach continued to work as an evangelist and pastored a church in Harden, IL, Elgin, IL and Sebree, KY.  He also held services in Allendale and Albion, IL.  When Bro. Doan moved to Evansville, IN in 1940, Bro. Peach started a work in Mt. Carmel, IL. He pastored there until he passed away on April 27, 1967.  His wife Sis. Willa, moved to Houston TX, where Bro. Clyde Patton was her pastor.  She passed away on October 15, 1999.
